Peak Music Studios just released the single, Storm With Blue Eyes. The track was written and recorded in collaboration with two of the innovative studio’s students.
Peak Music Studios Guitar and Singing Lessons in Latham, New York, is the home to the alt rock band, Dark Ballet. Jeff Moore, co-owner, vocal coach, and lead guitar instructor at Peak Music, is the founding member of the band. Storm with Blue Eyes is the first single from their second and upcoming album.
Jennifer Seguin, a Peak Music singer and songwriting student, co-wrote the piece with Jeff Moore, and sings background vocals on the track. Chuck VanZandt, a guitar student in the studio, plays rhythm guitar on the song.
Peak Music Studios routinely includes their students in live performances and professional recordings. Jeff Moore said, “One of the many innovative practices of our studio is to include our students in recording projects to accelerate their progress and to expose them to the professional recording process. We also invite them to play the songs live in local music venues to give them experience performing.”
